Ready for the best-case outlook on the Stars’ upcoming season? Wes and Mark get all sunshiny (but not in a weird way).

It’s that time of year when every team is undefeated and everything still seems possible. And here at Stargazing, we like where we’re at.

That’s why Wes and Mark sat down late last week for their annual Mssrs. Brightside buddy act. And they found a lot to be positive about. In this episode, they discuss:

  • the reasons why the defense may be better than you think it is,
  • the new (and continuing) power of the forward corps,
  • the case for worrying much less about whether Jake Oettinger is getting enough time off in net,
  • and why a deep Stanley Cup run is the floor for ’24.

We’re not saying someone is coming home with postseason hardware, but Miro Heiskanen…the floor is yours. This is Stargazing.
