Jordie smash?
The Minnesota Wild jumbotron crew had a bit of fun with Dallas Stars defenseman Jordie Benn and his magnificent beard. Apparently he looks like Yukon Cornelius from Rudolph to Red-Nosed Reindeer. Minnesota Wild beat reporter Chad Graff has the image:

Unfortunately for the Wild, Benn would then score on the next shift to cut the Wild lead to 2-1. Coincidence? Maybe, but I prefer to think of it as a Christmas miracle. Given the way this game had been going before the image, the fact that a goal came almost immediately afterwards can be nothing less than miraculous.
