Dallas Stars Tuesday Links: Stars Continue To Struggle Against the Central

Last night’s 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets was unfortunately nothing new for the Dallas Stars: it marks the sixth consecutive loss against the club that started back on October 27, 2016 (the Stars last beat the Jets two days prior to that – October 25, 2016).

Needless to say, head coach Ken Hitchcock was not pleased with the performance:

The loss stings a little bit more when you realize that the Stars have now won just a single game against the Central Division so far, which was against the Colorado Avalanche:

In case you didn’t catch the game, there was another Jamie lining up at wing: the Stars elected to play Jamie Oleksiak as a forward instead of recalling one from the AHL. [SportsDay DFW]

Oleksiak barely played, though, with Hitchcock making a comment that you typically don’t like to hear about one of your defensemen:
