Dallas Stars Daily Links: The Shootout Giveth And Taketh Away

Credit: Tim Heitman / Dallas Stars

The Stars start late and end even later in an extra extra-minutes loss to the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Dallas Stars earned a point in Nevada, but they let the Vegas Golden Knights tie the game late in the third period and couldn’t close the deal. Yet Matt Duchene in the shootout is beginning to look like found money, eh?

There were plenty of other positive moments, too. One of them was Craig Smith getting his first goal in Victory Green.

And what is there to say about Joe Pavelski that hasn’t already been said about pie and ice cream?

Meanwhile, Corey Pronman still has a Stars problem, but at least he can see now that Wyatt Johnston deserves his own tier – even if it’s the third one. (*heavy sigh*)

It’s always nice to see mascots supporting each other. You go, Vic.
