Profits from the event will be used to send DFW area military service members and their families to the Dallas Stars Military Appreciation Night on Friday, March 28th through Defending the Blue Line (http://www.defendingtheblueline.org). The event this season will feature camouflage jerseys worn during warm-ups, military displays as part of the Party on the Plaza and special recognition of our nation’s heroes throughout the game. Defending the Blue Line (http://www.defendingtheblueline.org) has partnered with the Dallas Stars Foundation for the past two seasons to help provide access to the sport of hockey to our local servicemen and women and their families. This year, American-born defenseman Alex Goligoski created “Alex’s Army” and donated four Gold level tickets to every Dallas Stars home game to members of the military.

The first 100 donations of $25 or more will receive one entry to the Olympic party (per $25 donated to this campaign). Please note, based on our contract with the venue, we are limited to 100 guests at this special event, so don’t wait! We are not anticipating tickets to be available at the door.

Can’t be there in person? Please still consider donating. It’s for a great cause supporting our military and their families. As an ex-Air Force brat, I can tell you that getting involved in activities as a kid isn’t always easy, and organizations like Defending the Blue Line make that a lot easier. It means a lot to kids to have an easy way to get involved. All donors will be entered to win door prizes!
**Please note this is not an official Dallas Stars or Defending the Blue Line event. A group of hockey people in Dallas is hosting this party as a fun social event to celebrate the Olympic season and wanted all profits to go to a worthy cause. Hope you can join us!!
