Monday Scoreboard Watching Thread – Because We Just Can’t Help Ourselves

With a point last night in Los Angeles, the Dallas Stars still maintain tenuous control over their own playoff fate with three games left in the season. But a little help from the Phoenix Coyotes as they take on the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena tonight would put the Wings in a much tighter spot coming down the home stretch.

Of course, that doesn’t take into account the Columbus Blue Jackets, who have just two games left – one against Dallas. There’s not much news out of Stars land today either as the team prepares to take on the San Jose Sharks.

If you’re looking for a place to plead with the hockey gods to help the Coyotes score at least two goals and keep the Red Wings in check, or you’re looking to talk about anything else with the members of the Defending Big D community, feel free to talk about it here. The Yotes and Wings have an early game as Detroit celebrates its final nights as a member of the Western Conference.
