Methot Out Another Two Weeks

Stars coach Ken Hitchcock announced Friday during post practice scrum that defenseman Marc Methot will be out another two weeks.

Methot has been plagued with knee problems since November, when he first had arthroscopic surgery and was out for 4 to 6 weeks. He returned to the lineup on January 4, logging 15:32 of ice time.

Hitchcock also announced they will be calling up an AHL defenseman to bolster the ranks. Though he did not state who it would be, he hinted at it being a lefty, leading Stars reporter Sean Shapiro to guess that it might be Dillon Heatherington.

The Stars return to the ice Saturday night against the Colorado Avalanche.
