F***ing Horseshirt: In Honor Of Lites’ Tirade, A Wearable Tribute To The 2018-2019 Stars Season

It is the phrase heard round the sports world that has become synonymous with the Dallas Stars this season: “Fucking Horseshit.”

At the end of December, the Stars’ CEO Jim Lites held court with a select few local media members and used a profanity-laced tirade to describe the less-than-ideal play his team had at that time. He specifically called out the captain, Jamie Benn, and star forward Tyler Seguin, who had signed a new 8-year, $9.85 million average annual value just months earlier to stay with the Dallas Stars.

Fans were quick to defend the star players. After all, the issue was far more systemic than the lower offensive numbers by these two when it was low across the board. Not to mention, Seguin was riding a career-low shooting percentage that was bound to regress (and like magic, it has after the turn of the year – imagine that.) The flaws of the roster are not the players’ fault, and most Stars fans felt that the criticism was unfair when not acknowledging that the front office failed to address the secondary scoring concerns that had plagued the team for two offseasons (and counting, quite frankly.)

In a lot of ways, the “fucking horseshit” phrase has turned into a rallying cry for Stars fans. And now, you can wear that slogan thanks to our collaboration with Breaking T Co, available as a t-shirt and as a hoodie (for wear to the colder rink, of course):

Get them while they’re hot here. Defending Big D will make a small commission on each sale, and that money is planned to go towards a Defending Big D meetup we’re organizing for the Winter Classic at the end of the year. So support local and all that jazz, and be stylish in your Stars gear with the only Fucking Horseshit shirt you’re likely to ever want to own.

(By the way, the Breaking T Co shirts are some of the softest material I’ve ever owned. Also they don’t shrink much if you wash them in cold water and you’re debating choosing between sizes.)
