So now that the Dallas Stars players and coaches (save for two of them) have had a nice break where they’ve been able to relax and heal up some nicks and bruises, we close the book on the NHL All-Star weekend and turn our attention to the month of February. But not quite before we take a look back at the previous week (or so) worth of Stars action where if you recall they had a tough go of things in Canada before returning home to salvage some respect back.
As such, a lot of players took a hit in this week’s ups and downs…

His ice time was reduced and he seemed to play better because of it. Winning that fight versus Fraser was a tone setter for the game against Edmonton. |

Stars rely on him to lead the defensive unit in all aspects of the game including penalty kill – and the PK was brutal last week. |
