Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Pollock Has Point Streak Snapped At Seven Games

North American Juniors and NCAA

OHL

Alex Peters went pointless through three games for the Flint Firebirds this week. He has seven points through 29 games.

Brent Moran played three games for the Flint Firebirds this week. In all three losses he posted save percentages of above 0.900SVS% but unfortunately he hasn’t been able to get his first win for the Firebirds. In all three games he made over 30 saves.

Chris Martenet played two games with the London Knights this week, finishing pointless through both of those games.

Aaron Haydon had a pair of assists through three games with the Niagara IceDogs this week. Both assists came during a 5-3 win against the Hamilton Bulldogs. Highlights of the game can be found here.

Haydon now has six points through 37 games this season.

Patrick Sanvido played three games with the Windsor Spitfires this week, going pointless in all three games. He has six points in 22 games.

WHL

Brett Pollock managed to extend his point streak to seven games before having it broken this week. He played two games this week going pointless on Saturday but having a three point game on Wednesday.

Pollock was involved in all three goals the Oil Kings scored in a 3-1 win against the Vancouver Giants. Pollock finished with a goal and two assists in the win and was named first star of the game. Highlights of the game can be found here.

USHL

Matej Paulovic remains out with injury.

NCAA

Mike Prapavessis played one game for the RPI Engineers this week and finished pointless in the 3-3 tie against Princeton. He has ten points in 20 games.

Joseph Cecconi played two games for Michigan this week and went pointless through both of them. He did finished with a plus three overall during the pair of wins.

Europe

Sweden

Niklas Hansson played two games for HV71 and finished with a pair of assists. He got an assist during a 5-3 loss to Vaxjo Lakers on Tuesday, highlights of the assist can be seen here.

On Saturday he added another assist during a 5-2 win against Lulea. Highlights of the assist can be found here.

John Nyberg played two games for Oskarshamn and finished pointless in both games.

Finland

Roope Hintz got back off to a good start after winning a gold medal at the World Junior Championship. In his first game back for HIFK he got the primary assist on the only goal in a 1-0 win against Kalpa.

Troy Vance played three games this week for Assat and finished pointless in those games.

Aleksi Makela did not play in the Liiga this week.

Henri Kiviaho played a single game this week for Ilves. He saved 20 of 22 shots, a 0.901SVS%. Ilves would lose the game 2-1 to JYP.

Miro Karjalainen finished with a single assist during an 8-4 win against Karpat this week. He has 7 points in 16 games.

Russia

Denis Guryanov played three games in the KHL this week and went pointless through all of them. He averaged 12 minutes of ice time across those three games.

Dmitry Sinitsyn did not play this week in the KHL.
