Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Dickinson Has 12 Game Point Streak, Shore Has Five Point Weekend

North American Juniors And NCAA
OHL
Remi Elie played two games this week for the Erie Otters and finished with two assists though those games. In a 3-2 win against the Guelph Storm Elie had a single assist.He assisted on Cory Genovese's game winner late in the third period. Highlights of that game can be found here. He'd add another assist during a 7-3 win against Owen Sound Attack on Sunday. He'd assist on Nick Betz goal halfway through the third period. Highlights of the game can be found here.
Jason Dickinson extended his point streak to 12 games this week. He had four points through three games for the Guelph Storm. He had an assist in a 3-2 lose to the Erie Otters on Friday, highlights of that game are here. He assisted on a powerplay goal just over half a minute into the second period to tie the game up.
Dickinson added another assist during a 3-0 shutout of the Plymouth Whalers on Saturday. Dickinson had an assist on Givani Smith's opening, and game winning goal, five minutes into the second period.
In a 6-5SO loss to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Sunday Dickinson had a goal and an assist. His assist came just under 15 minutes into the first period. He assisted on Tyler Bertuzzi's 31st goal of the season. He would get a goal of his own, a powerplay goal, near the end of the first period. He missed his shootout attempt. Aaron Haydon played two games this week with the Niagara IceDogs. He had a single assist bringing his points total to 19 points through 45 games this season. He had a single assist on Graham Knott's goal during a 5-1 defeat of the Plymouth Whalers. His assist was on a powerplay goal, five minutes into the third period. Brent Moran played a single game for the Niagara IceDogs this week, finishing with a 0.862SVS%. Moran allowed four goals on 29 shots during a 7-4 win against the Barrie Colts on Sunday. Highlights of the game can be found here.
Alex Peters is still out injured.
Patrick Sanvido suffered an injury last week and has not returned to action for the Windsor Spitfires.
WHL
Brett Pollock played three games this week with the Edmonton Oil Kings. He finished with four points through those three games.
On Thursday in a game against the Kootenay Ice, Pollock finished with three points. He had two goals and an assist in the 5-3 loss. His effort got the Oil Kings ahead 3-1 before the Ice rallied with four goals in the final 23 minutes of the game. Highlights of the game can be found here.
Pollock added another goal to his totals during a 5-2 loss to the Calgary Hitmen on Saturday. Highlights of the game can be found here. He now has 44 points through 47 games and leads his team in scoring. The second highest point scorer, Ashton Sautner, has 37 points through 49 games.
Cole Ully had three points through three games for the Kamloops Blazers this week. He had a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win against the Tri-City Americans on Wednesday. He had an assist on the opening goal less than a minute into the game and added his 21st of the season just over ten minutes into the first period. Highlights of the game can be found here.
In a 4-3OT win against the Victoria Royal's on Friday, Ully would score the opening goal 16 minutes into the first period. Highlights of the game can be found here. These wins this week would put the Blazers within striking distance of the final wildcard spot in the WHL's Western conference.
QMJHL
Philippe Desrosiers started one game this week but was pulled after 25 minutes. He allowed three goals on 10 shots and was pulled from the game. The Rimouski Oceanic lost the 6-3. The three goals on 10 shots equaled a 0.700SVS%.
USHL
Matej Paulovic played three games this week and went pointless through all three of them. He has 28 points in 30 games.
NCAA
Devin Shore scored five points this weekend for the University of Maine's Black Bears in a pair of games against New Hampshire. He had two goals and two assists in a 6-4 win on Friday and was named first star of the game. He'd add another assist in a 4-0 win on Saturday.
Shore now has 23 points through 26 games and leads his team in points.
Mike Prapavessis only played a single game this week and he was playing for the Mayor's Cup. RPI lost the game 8-3 to Union. Prapvessis finished pointless and with a minus four rating. He was on the Engineers top defensive pairing.
Europe
Sweden
Ludwig Bystrom had an eventful week going back and forth between Timra and Farjestad. He played two games with Timra in the Allsvenska and finished with a single assist. He returned to the SHL later in the week and went pointless in a 2-1OT win.. He did play 21 minutes of ice time however.
Both Niklas Hansson and Emil Molin went pointless this week for Rogle in the Allsvenska. Hansson was injured early in the first period on Tuesday and did not return this week. Emil Molin dressed as the extra forward but did not touch the ice through the two games Rogle played this week.
John Nyberg played a pair of games with Frolunda in the SHL this week. He averaged around 10 minutes of ice time through both games and went pointless.
Finland
Esa Lindell played three games this week and finished with a goal and an assist through those games. His point streak ended at five games however. He averaged 22 minutes of ice time over those three games. Lindell's 23 points puts him fifth in defensive scoring in the Liiga.
Aleksi Makela played three games this week for Ilves and finished pointless through them. He averaged 18 minutes of ice time over those three games.
Miro Karjalainen is still out injured.
Russia
Dmitry Sinitsyn is still not in action in Russia. It is unclear why he is still out as he was reportedly healthy.
