Preseason Game 4: Stars Vs Wild (7:30 PM CDT)

It’s the second of three preseason games at the American Airlines Center tonight. Dallas will not have top center Tyler Seguin in the lineup as he remains “nicked up”. It’s not something overly concerning, but in the preseason game, there’s no reason to push a guy through something minor in a game that ultimately doesn’t count for anything – you want him ready to go for opening night.

In his absence, Roope Hintz gets a chance to play a more offensive role. It’ll be interesting to see how he does with players the quality of Jamie Benn and Alexander Radulov with him. The second line tonight is one that could be what the Stars roll out on opening night, as is the third line. Fourth line decisions are still raging, of course – and likely will until the last preseason game is played.

On the other side of the ice, the Minnesota Wild will be looking for their first preseason victory.

Dallas Lineup

Jamie Benn – Roope Hintz – Alexander Radulov
Mattias Janmark – Jason Spezza – Valeri Nichushkin

Esa Lindell – John Klingberg
Marc Methot – Miro Heiskanen
Dillon Heatherington – Joel Hanley

Khudobin will play the full game tonight.
