Dallas Stars Daily Links: Which UFAs Could the Stars Pursue?

What offseason moves will the Stars make this summer? Mike Heika names five forwards who are UFAs and could be in a good fit in the Lone Star State.

To start, he points to Montreal’s Alexander Radulov, who picked up seven points (2 goals, 5 assists) in five playoff games this postseason.

The slippery winger is incredibly dynamic and might look forward to playing on a line with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn. His history in the NHL was checkered, as many saw him as difficult to coach and not the best teammate. But he returned from the KHL and signed a one-year deal with the Canadiens and had a very nice year, showing significant maturity.

Heika also names the Capitals’ Justin Williams as a possible add for the Stars.

After his hip surgery in late March, Patrick Sharp will likely not be ready to talk contract until August, so that allows the Stars to ponder other options. Justin Williams might be as close to a Sharp replacement as anyone out there. Williams is 35 and an experienced playoff veteran.
