Dallas Stars Daily Links: Stars Rally to Beat Wild in Overtime

Down three goals? Well, that's no problem for the Stars. Plus, the role of agitators in the NHL, and which players you most want on the ice in overtime.

Just when you were ready to turn off the TV (or change it over to college football), Alex Goligoski scored. Next up, a short-handed Jamie Benn found the back of the net. And then, cool as you please, John Klingberg tied the game, and the Stars went on to beat the Wild 4-3 in overtime—courtesy of a Tyler Seguin goal.

After the game, Seguin sounded off on the team's rally and the Stars' newfound ability to stay patient when the shots aren't going their way.

"Right down to the wire, we competed hard," Seguin said. "In the past, we got really frustrated. This year, we've been able to stay a lot more patient. It's a message that has been spoken loudly."

Coach Lindy Ruff also shared his thoughts on the win.
