CALI-FOUR-NICATION
The Stars erased a 2-0 deficit in the first period on Wednesday, scoring four unanswered goals en route to a 4-2 win at American Airlines Center in Game Four. This is the first time Dallas has overcome a two-goal deficit to win a postseason game since April 12, 2004 against Colorado, when the team came back and won, 4-3, in overtime after trailing 3-1 (per Elias Sports Bureau). The last time the Stars came back from two goals down to win in regulation was on April 25, 1999 when the team won, 3-2, in Edmonton (per Elias Sports Bureau). Captain JAMIE BENN started the comeback, scoring his team-leading third goal of the postseason. SHAWN HORCOFF tallied two assists in the game, while VERNON FIDDLER scored the game-tying goal and added an assist for his first career postseason multi-point game.
