Tonight’s action features a healthy dose of western conference matchups. Here’s the details:
Philadelphia Flyers vs New York Rangers (CNBC, 6 PM CST)
Chicago Blackhawks vs St Louis Blues (NBCSN, 7 PM CST)
Minnesota Wild vs Colorado Avalanche (CNBC, 8:30 PM CST)
Los Angeles Kings vs San Jose Sharks (NBCSN, 9:30 PM CST)
Personally, I’m looking forward to the Kings/Sharks series the most tonight — even if it is another late start. The physicality of that series that I’m expecting is the embodiment of western conference hockey. The Sharks had a bit of fun at San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree’s expense yesterday after he tweeted out support for the Dallas Stars:
Who going to all the @DallasStars home games with me for the playoffs?

We kind of understand… but just know, @KingCrab15 looks pretty good on teal. pic.twitter.com/XD9tJgfio6

Good luck, @SanJoseSharks. @KingCrab15 is ready if you guys need him. http://t.co/KXNpUNoamt #BeatTheKings pic.twitter.com/ZpMyDC0Jrz
