As we near the end of the regular season with the Dallas Stars gearing down rather than gearing up for the playoffs, the staff here at Defending Big D are compiling our usual list of offseason projects.
We’re going to be going through each player individually to examine their performance as well as taking a look at some of the greater trends that caused the Stars to miss the playoffs despite putting up a nearly identical record to last season (40-31-11 last season and 40-31-10 and counting with one left this time around).
And as always, we’re going to look back at some of the most memorable games of the year. That’s where you come in, Stars fans.
Each of us has different takes on a game – a rousing comeback win to one person may be something they should have been winning all along to another. Some choices are obvious (see the picture accompanying this article) but others are up for much more debate. And with 82 games in a season, even the collective memories of the DBD staffers are bound to miss at least one obvious candidate.
