Video: Texas Stars Beat Toronto Marlies 6-3 to Even Series

The Texas Stars were in danger of falling into a 2-0 hole in their Western Conference Finals series with the Toronto Marlies after pouring 50 shots on Drew MacIntyre in a game-one loss. 52 additional shots Monday night proved more fruitful in a series-evening 6-3 victory.

Texas got two goals from Stars prospect Brett Ritchie last night- Ritchie had missed most of the post-season with a lower-body injury.

“We needed him back,” Willie Desjardins said after the game. “It’s good to have him back now. He makes a difference for us. He’s suited for playoff hockey and he’s been a good addition. We need him.”

Stephen will have his full analysis in the Texas Stars Report tomorrow in this space, and you can read his full gamer from last night’s action here at Hundred Degree Hockey, but I wanted to get these videos posted in the mean time…
