Video: Dallas Stars’ Jamie Benn Beast Mode Through Neutral, Finds Tyler Seguin For Tying Goal

Jamie Benn added another great entry into his growing career highlight reel against the Edmonton Oilers tonight.

With his team down by two goals entering into the third period, Benn was instrumental in turning the game around and eventually leading to this tying goal. The Stars would hold onto the tie to get at least a point out of the contest after being down by three goals earlier in the game.

Benn takes comes out of the neutral zone and then checks Jeff Petry into the boards to separate him from the puck. Best friend Tyler Seguin was right in front of Ben Scrivens‘ net, and Benn connected with him to give the Stars the tying goal against the Edmonton Oilers.

That’s the kind of play that, to me, shows Jamie Benn is on his game. He is a prototypical power forward, and here that skillset was on display. It really helps having the finishing ability of Seguin there to put the puck home.

That duo is going to be a blast to watch in Victory Green for years to come.
