Based on the poll from the previous post, by far the most popular game voted for was Saturday, November 22nd, against the Los Angeles Kings.
Unfortunately, the reason that it’s so enticing to us is the same reason it will be enticing to the general public as well. Tickets to the general public go on sale starting August 15th, which means we will need to have the majority of the seats paid for well before then.
So, as of right now, the sign-up sheet is officially open! I covered most of the details last time, so you can get the refresher by clicking here. Otherwise, here are the basics:
- The cost will be $55 per ticket (a savings of about $20, not including ticketmaster fees)
- We will be in the lower level
- The number of available seats is limited to 100 for this game
- We are also planning to do a group picture on the Stars’ bench after the game is over
- We may even have some free prizes, with details TBD/
If you’re interested in attending, send an email to DBDGroupParty@gmail.com. Make sure to include your full name as well as how many tickets you would like to reserve. (I do ask that you keep it to 4 tickets per person, but let me know why if you need more. We can accommodate.)
This will be on a first come, first serve basis. Last season, we had our RSVP fill up overnight, so make sure you email us as soon as possible.
The preferred method of payment will be via PayPal — It makes everything far simpler for us as well as our super awesome sales rep, D’Ann. Specific instructions on how to do that will be emailed to those that RSVP. Do not try to pay before receiving the instructions. Believe me, it will only cause confusion for everyone involved.
If you can’t do PayPal (because you don’t trust it, don’t have an account, whatever), just mention it in your RSVP. Again, it’s easy enough to work around this, but communication is key.
Once we get the group finalized, we will issue the tickets after that.
Finally, the choice for the second game was a close one, so I am running the poll below to try and settle on a date. Keep in mind that we can/might have a third group event if there is enough demand.
