Open Thread: Draft Day and Trade Rumors

SB Nation's 2015 NHL Draft Tracker

You asked, we answered. Here’s the thread you can come and talk about trade rumors going around the league.

Colorado Avalanche started us off by trading for Carl Soderberg’s negotiation rights and then signing him to a whopping 5 year, $4.75 million per season deal. Does that signal a potential trade of Ryan O’Reilly?

Ottawa Senators then went out and flipped Robin Lehner and David Legwand for the 21st pick from the Buffalo Sabres.

TSN’s Bob McKenzie on the latest Cam Talbot rumors:

While EDM and CGY are in on Talbot with NYR, don’t rule out the two Alberta teams also having interest in LAK Martin Jones, who may move.

Eddie Lack, Martin Jones and Cam Talbot are goaltenders that could find themselves with new addresses today.

Other players like Phil Kessel, Jeff Skinner, Rick Nash, Patrick Sharp and Dion Phaneuf are all rumored to be available. Sharp’s name has had the most attached to it as far as prices go and Kessel and Phaneuf seem to be in the rumor mill at every major trade-heavy part of the season recently.

The Arizona Coyotes have two solid offers for the #3 overall pick. Expect them to get a massive haul for that.
