Welcome, NHL fans, to Dallas! We’re glad you decided to visit our fair city as you boo Gary Bettman and see what future superstar your team will draft in the 2018 NHL Draft hosted in the home city of the Dallas Stars.
While we know that your main purpose here is hockey related, we hope you’ll get a chance to check out some of the great food and culture Dallas has to offer. We’ve put together a guide of some of our favorite go-to places to go in the following guide. We hope it will help you chart your weekend and get you to some local spots.
The guide is broken down into neighborhoods you might hear Dallasites reference. We’ve stuck to most of the neighborhoods closest to the AAC, but know that this is only a small portion of the greater Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. There are bound to be a multitude of places we’ve left off this list, but this covers the highlights of areas you might go while you’re here.
Keep in mind that Texas is not an open container state, so finish any alcoholic drinks inside the restaurant/bar/hotel/patio before you walk along to the next spot. Drink responsibly. Cheer loud.
