So, this is it.
It’s a bit sudden, but this is a decision I need to make right now.
Over the past six years the Dallas Stars and this website have been the lone constant in a very tumultuous time in my life, and I am thankful to everyone I have had the joy and pleasure to both work with and meet during that time. SB Nation has been a home to me for more than eight years as well, and it’s going to be tough to finally and completely move on.
But move on I shall; I need to take a break and work on the next step in my life, whatever that may turn out to be.
I’ll miss everyone deeply. Thanks to Travis Hughes, Brad, Art, Brandon Bibb, Erin, Taylor, Stephen, Pat, Josh, Ryan, Derek, Ismael, Huw, Robert, Wes and Patrick and everyone I’ve had the privilege to work with. Thanks to all of the readers and loyal followers of this website for so many years, and to all of the support shown our way both online and in person.
To everyone who came up to me and shook my hand at games or events, you have no idea how rewarding those meetings were for me.
It’s been a hell of a ride, and I walk away with a smile on a my face.
