We here at Defending Big D called an audible last week. Thanks to our partners at Breaking T, we came up with a specially designed, limited edition “Deep In The Heart of Dallas” shirt for your next must-have hockey apparel in honor of Rich Peverley.

Not only will you have something fantastic to wear, you’ll be helping give back with your purchase. In partnership with Breaking T, we’re donating $5 per shirt sold to Pevs Protects, Peverley’s charitable effort to raise funds to purchase AEDs for communities to give people a second chance at life as he did when an AED was used to restart his heart after his cardiac event during a game two years ago.

The last time we did a fundraiser for an AED, we raised over $2,700 and were able to purchase an AED for a Garland peewee football team. We’re hoping we can exceed that total this year!
