John Klingberg's outstanding introduction to the NHL continued Thursday evening as the Dallas Stars young defenseman scored his first career NHL goal. The top-flight individual effort, with a sidestep of a charging forward off a faceoff win and nonchalant picking of the corner, left him the happiest hockey player in the NHL, if only for this wonderful, GIFable second. James Mirtle compiled the average size, weight and age of each NHL team and the Dallas Stars are the fifth-biggest team in the NHL in weight, and the fourth-biggest in the league in height.
The Stars, thought to be in the midst of a youth movement, have the 10th-oldest roster in the NHL. The inclusion of Oleksiak and Gonchar certainly don't skew these numbers just a bit.Check it out here.
