Do you like websites? Do you like sports? How about hockey? Are you interested in the Dallas Stars? Are you capable of writing a better introductory paragraph than this one for a story? If you hit at least 60% of these targets we want you to consider writing for DefendingBigD.
Some re-organization is coming, though nothing incredibly major. Just the type of re-organization that comes from a collective group of people getting older with more life responsibilities on their plates. With that being said we’re looking for a bit of everything. Feature Writers, Daily Links, Breaking News, Game Recaps, and TBD regular feature slots could all be filled. We definitely want to find at the minimum someone to cover links and lessen some of the “burden” of the other responsibilities.
We need people who are willing to contribute 2-3 posts per week, though Links are daily. When you need a break with links we’re good about working that out, but if you’re brought in to do Links the expectation would be that you get Links taken care of on a consistent basis.
This is a labor of love. We all have jobs and do this in our spare time. The key to being successful is to have ideas at the ready to discuss and then having the ability to develop those ideas into quality content. We’re happy to work with anyone, though obviously the more polished the better. Our focus is on commitment and quality here. If you would like to join us in our little asylum this is how to do it.

Step two will be to post submissions. After a week of gauging interest we’ll close the survey and move on to those candidates we select submitting sample posts. From there we’ll find some more writers.
