Dallas Stars Sign Cole Ully to 3-Year Entry-Level Contract

The Stars have announced they have signed skilled winger Cole Ully to a three-year entry-level contract. Drafted in the fifth round of the 2013 NHL Draft, the playmaking left wing is off to a fantastic start this season with 16 goals and 32 assists in 35 games for the Kamloops Blazers.

FRISCO, Texas – Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed left wing Cole Ully to a three-year, entry-level contract. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Ully, 19, has posted 48 points (16-32=48) in 35 games played for Kamloops of the Western Hockey League this season. Amongst WHL leaders, he ranks third in assists, tied for fifth in points and tied for 18th in goals. He currently leads Kamloops in goals, assists, points, plus/minus (+14) and power play goals (6).

In his fourth full WHL season, all with Kamloops, he has registered 191 points (77-114=191) in 222 regular season games. He has also added 10 points (2-8=10) in 21 career playoff contests.

The 6-foot, 170-pound native of Calgary, Alta., was selected by Dallas in the fifth round (131st overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft.
