Dallas Stars Select Francesco Arcuri 175th Overall
The Stars continue to restock at center with their sixth-round pick.
In the 2021 NHL Draft, the Dallas Stars continued to restock their shelves at center with the selection of Francesco Arcuri at No. 175 overall.
The Kingston Frontenacs forward made the best of the OHL’s lost season by decamping to Austria, where he played in the Alps Hockey League for Steel Wings Linz. He scored nine goals and six assists in his 18 games with the club.
The 6-2 Toronto native was ranked at No. 122 overall by NHL Central Scouting, and DBD’s Derek Neumeier sums up his potential this way:

Yet another guy who would have been in the OHL but took his game over to the Europe, putting up nearly a point per game. He's a big forward with surprising skill who needs to get a lot quicker
Caitlin Berry, Dobber Hockey’s “Queen of the OHL,” had this to say:
Dallas continue their fantastic OHL-based picks with Francesco Arcuri at 175.

Thought he had a REALLY strong showing at @HhockeyPb, after absolutely dominating in the AlpsHL. Great playmaking and skating. #2021NHLDraft #OHL https://t.co/0MTL5WHpXY
