Dallas Stars Select Albert Sjöberg 207th Overall
With their final pick, the Stars choose a two-way center with potential.
With their final 2021 NHL Draft pick, the Dallas Stars have chosen center Albert Sjöberg of the Allsvenskan and the Swedish national U18 team at No. 207.
The 6-0 Stockholm native scored 10 goals and three assists in 18 games with Södertälje SK’s J20 team in the Allsvenskan league. In addition, he scored two goals and one assist in seven games with the Tre Kronor’s U18 World Junior Championship team.
He was also projected to go much higher by scouts who include DBD and FC Hockey prospects guru Derek Neumeier:
And with their final pick, Dallas adds Albert Sjoberg at 207th

And ONCE AGAIN, another pick that I really like for the Stars. Sjoberg is a quick and powerful center who projects really well as a Bottom 6 center. Our FCHockey team had him all the way up at 108. Great value here
Ryan Wagman of McKeen’s Hockey seconds that emotion:
Another killer pick from Dallas, in Albert Sjoberg. Two way center plays hard. Only 6 of the @mckeenshockey top 100 left. Kudos also to Hank Kempf, going to NYR. Tough blueliner
