Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Roope Hintz Has Good Week, Paulovic Has Four Point Week

North American Juniors and NCAA

OHL

Alex Peters played two games for the Flint Firebirds, finishing with a single assist. He got the assist during a 5-4 loss against Owen Sound. Highlights of the game can be found here.

Brent Moran got his second win of the year with the Firebirds this week. He saved 33 of 35 shots, a 0.943SVS%, in the Firebirds 3-2 win against the Kitchener Rangers on Friday.

In three games with the London Knights this week, Chris Martenet scored his third goal of the season. He got the goal during a 4-1 win against the Erie Otters on Wednesday. He was also named second star of the game for his performance.

Martenet got given plenty of room and time in the slot and was able to put it in. Highlights can be found here.

Aaron Haydon went pointless through three games for the Niagara IceDogs this week. He has 10 points in 51 games this season.

Through three games this week Patrick Sanvido finished pointless. He has 7 points in 34 games this season.

WHL

Brett Pollock played three games with the Oil Kings this week and finished with a single assist. He got the assist on an overtime game winner during a 4-3OT win against Lethbridge on Saturday. Highlights can be found here.

USHL

Matej Paulovic had four points in three games this week. All four points were assists. He now has 26 points in 28 games.

NCAA

Through two games this weekend in the NCAA, Mike Prapavessis finished with a single goal. He scored the even strength goal during a 2-1OT loss. It was Prapavessis’ third goal of the year and his 13th point.

Joseph Cecconi went pointless through two games in the NCAA this week. He has 5 points in 21 games for Michigan this season.

Europe

Sweden

Neither Niklas Hansson or John Nyberg were in action in Sweden this week. Both the SHL and Allsvenska had weeks off.

Finland

Roope Hintz played in only one game this week but finished with a goal and an assist during a 3-2 win over JYP. His two point game meant he was given first star honours.

Aleksi Makela went pointless through the one game he played for Ilves this week.

Troy Vance played a single game, a 5-2 win over Lukko, and finished with a single assist. He got the secondary assist on the game winning goal.

Henri Kiviaho got his first wins of the year in the Liiga this week. He got a pair of wins, a 6-4 win and a 4-1 win, for Ilves. Before this he had not registered a single win, instead registering regulation losses each of the previous six games he started.

Miro Karjalainen did not play this week in the Finnish juniors.

Russia

Denis Guryanov split the week between the KHL and the MHL. He went pointless in one game in the KHL and would get a goal during his one game stint in the MHL.

Dmitry Sinitsyn did not play this week in the KHL.
