Dallas Stars Prospect Update: OHL Playoffs Begin, Hansson Signs Entry Level Contract

North American Juniors and NCAA
OHL
Chris Martenet finished pointless through the London Knights first two games in the OHL playoffs. The Knights are currently tied 1-1 against the Owen Sound Attack.
In the Niagara IceDogs first two games in their series against the Ottawa 67s, Aaron Haydon finished pointless. The IceDogs lead the series 2-0.
Patrick Sanvido finished with a single assist during the first two games of the Windsor Spitfires series against the Kitchener Rangers. He got the assist on Mads Ellers goal during a 6-4 loss to the Rangers on Saturday.
The Spitfires are currently losing their first round series 2-0.
USHL
Matej Paulovic had a four point week in the USHL. He had a pair of assists during a 5-4OT win against the Lincoln Stars on Friday. He assist on the opening goal and the game winning goal.
Paulovic would follow this up with a goal and an assist during a 4-2 win against Team USA. He scored Muskegon's opening goal, his 19th of the year, and got an assist on an even strength goal. He was named first star of the game.
The USHL regular season is still ongoing.
NCAA
Joseph Cecconi's season came to end this week after Michigan were beaten in the NCAA Midwest Regional Finals by North Dakota.
Michigan had got to the final after beating Notre Dame on Friday during a 3-2OT win. Cecconi did not register a point in either contest.
He finishes the season with six points.
Europe
Sweden
Niklas Hansson finished his season in Sweden after HV71 were swept in the first round of the playoffs. Hansson went pointless in the one game played last week.
Hansson also signed a three year entry level contract with the Dallas Stars and an amateur tryout contract with the Texas Stars. He will most likely return to the SHL next season to play the second year of his contract with HV71.
Finland
After a hot start to the playoffs, Hintz has cooled down a bit. He went pointless through the three games that HIFK played this week. They currently lead their first round series against the Pelicans 3-2 and play game six today.
