Memorial Cup Tournament
Chris Martenet and the London Knights opened the Memorial Cup, defeating the Red Deer Rebels 6-2. Chris Martenet went pointless in the contest but finished with a plus one.

The London Knights play their second game of the tournament against the Brandon Wheat Kings on Tuesday. The Wheat Kings lost their first game of the tournament 5-3 to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
