Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Lindell Has Five Point Week, Pollock Extends Points Streak To Eight Games

North American Juniors and NCAA
OHL
Remi Elie is currently on a five game point streak with the Erie Otters and has eight points over those games. The Otters played a pair of games against the Barrie Colts and another game against the North Bay Battalion.
On Wednesday, in the first game against the Colts, Remi Elie finished with a goal and an assist in a 10-5 win. Remi Elie's goal was his 27th of the year, it would put the Otters ahead 3-0 only seven minutes into the first period. His assist would be on Jake Marchment's 9th goal of the year on the powerplay. In Saturday's game against the Colts, a 5-3 win, Elie would finish just one assist. He'd assist on Connor McDavid's 40th goal of the season, an empty netter to seal the game at 5-3. Highlights of the game can be found here.
On Sunday the Otters would play an early game against the North Bay Battalion, a 5-3 win, and Elie would finish with a goal and an assist. He assisted on Alex DeBrincat's opening goal, his 42nd of the year, and would score the goal that started a four goal comeback by the Erie Otters. It was his 28th goal of the year. The Otters have clinched a playoff spot and their division.
Jason Dickinson is currently on a six game point streak in the OHL and he has eight points over that stretch. The Guelph Storm played two games this week and Dickinson finished with three points in those two games.
In a 3-1 win against the Owen Sound Attack on Friday, Dickinson finished with a goal and an assist. He'd assisted on Pius Suter's 35th goal of the season just over halfway into the second period. He'd score his own 24th goal of the year shorthanded, and an empty netter, to clinch the win for the Storm. Highlights of the game can be found here.
On Sunday the Storm faced the Sarnia Sting and lost 5-2. Dickinson had a single assist on Pius Suter's 37th of the year. Highlights of that game can be found here.
The Guelph Storm have clinched a playoff spot.
Aaron Haydon played three games for the Niagara IceDogs this week. He finished pointless over those three games but the IceDogs would win all three of the games. Haydon has 23 points so far this season.
Brent Moran was in the net for their 6-5 win over the Barrie Colts. He saved 27 of the 32 shots he faced, a 0.844SVS%. His win was the fifth straight for the Niagara IceDogs. Highlights of the game can be found here.
The Niagara IceDogs have also clinched a playoff spot.
Patrick Sanvido had an impressive week for the Windsor Spitfires, he scored his second and third goals of the year. He had his first goal of the week against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Thursday, a 6-4 loss. Highlights of the game can be found here.
In a 5-4SO loss to the Kitchener Rangers, Sanvido would open the scoring. He'd get a goal early in the first period.That goal was his fourth of his entire OHL career. Highlights of the game can be found here.
The Spitfires are just out of a playoff spot with around half a dozen games left to play.
Alex Peters is still recovering from an injury suffered in the early part of the season.
WHL
Brett Pollock is currently on an eight game point streak for the Edmonton Oil Kings, he has 12 points over that eight game stretch. The Oil Kings played four games this week.
On Tuesday they played the Prince Albert Raiders, dropping the game 3-2 in the SO. Brett Pollock would open the scoring with a powerplay halfway through the first period. The goal was his 30th of the season. He missed his shootout attempt. Highlights of the game can be found here.
On Wednesday, Pollock had a single assist in a 5-2 win against the Saskatoon Blades. He assisted on Brandon Baddock's powerplay goal, it was his 16th goal of the year. Highlights of the game can be found here.
The Oil Kings played the Regina Pats on Friday losing the game 6-4. Pollock had a goal and an assist in the game. He helped lead the charge to get the Oil Kings back in the game after falling behind 5-2. He assisted on Edgars Kulda's 11th goal of the year to make it 5-3 and then got a goal of his own to make it 5-4 with three minutes left in the third period. They fell short but that goal was Pollock's 31rd of the year. Highlights of the game can be found here.
He would add an assist in the Oil Kings' 3-2 win against the Calgary Hitmen on Saturday. He assisted on Dysin Mayo's 13th goal of the year. Highlights of that game can be found here.
The Oil Kings haven't clinched a playoff spot yet and occupy the last wildcard spot in the WHL's Eastern Conference. Pollock leads the Oil Kings with 60 points through 65 games.
Cole Ully is currently on a four game point streak for the Kamloops Blazers. He has seven points over those four games. They played three games this week.
On Tuesday the Blazers faced the Calgary Hitmen and lost the game in overtime, 5-4. Ully had a single assist in that game, assisting on Matt Revel's 16th goal of the year. Highlights of the game can be found here.
They faced the Spokane Chiefs on Friday, winning the game 4-2. Ully had a pair of goals in the game, his 31st and 32nd goals of the year. He opened the scoring just over halfway through the first and would score early in the third period on the powerplay to make the score 4-1. He was named third star of the game for his efforts. On Saturday they faced the Seattle Thunderbirds, losing the game 3-1. Ully would finish with a single assist on Matt Needham's 23rd goal of the year. Highlights of the game can be found here.
The Blazers are currently two points out of the final wildcard spot in the WHL's Western Conference.
QMJHL
Philippe Desrosiers played just a single game for the Rimouski Oceanic this week, a 4-2 win against the Drummondville Voltigeurs. He saved 16 of the 18 shots he faced, a 0.889SVS%. The Oceanic have already clinched their playoff spot and they sit on top of the QMJHL.
USHL
Matej Paulovic is on a six game point streak for the Muskegon Lumberjacks and he has eight points over those six games. He had four of those points on Friday and Saturday.
He assisted on a powerplay goal during Muskegon's 3-2OT loss on Friday but would score a pair of goals and add an assist in a 4-3 win against Sioux City on Saturday. He was named first star of the game for his three point effort.
NCAA
Mike Prapavessis and RPI advanced through their best of three series to reach the ECAC quarterfinals. They split the first two games against Clarkson, a 3-2 win and 5-0 loss, before clinching the series on Sunday in a 3-1 win. They'll face St Lawrence next weekend in another best of three series.
Devin Shore and the University of Maine lost their best of three series. They lost the first game 4-2 before taking the second, also by 4-2. They'd lose their deciding game 3-2 in overtime. Devin Shore had a single goal in the series, the goal tied up the game with about five minutes left in the third period to send it to overtime. He was named third star of the game.
This could be the end of his collegiate career if he decides against coming back to Maine for his senior year. If he doesn't, he'll likely sign an entry level contract and join the Texas Stars in the coming weeks.
Europe
Sweden
Ludwig Bystrom had been out injured for the first game of the week for Farjestad but returned for Thursday's 4-1 loss to Vaxjo. He went pointless in the game and played just under 18 minutes.
Farjestad are currently playing a best of three series to decide if they reach the quarter finals. Farjestad lost the first game to Brynas 4-3 in overtime. He went pointless in the game and played 16 minutes of ice time. Farjestad play game two later today.
Mattias Janmark played two games for Frolunda this week and went pointless in both contests. He averaged 17 minutes of ice time over those two games. He currently has 36 points through 55 games for Frolunda.
Mattias Backman played two games for Linkoping finishing with a single assist in those games. He got his assist in a 4-0 win against Leksand. He averaged 17 minutes through those two games.
John Nyberg also played one of the games for Frolunda, a 3-0 loss to Lulea, and he went pointless in the contest. He only played five minutes of ice time. Nyberg also played two games in the Swedish Juniors and finished with a single goal during a 5-1 defeat of AIK.
In the Allsvenska, Rogle played two games to qualify for the promotion series. They won both games to sit atop the table for the round robin tournament. In Tuesday's 5-2 win against Malmo, Molin had a single assist while Hansson went pointless. Hansson played 15 minutes while Molin played 11 minutes of ice time.
In a 5-4SO win on Friday, Niklas Hansson had an assist on Kesper Jensen's powerplay goal. Molin went pointless in the contest. Molin played 13 minutes while Hansson had over 21 minutes of ice time for Rogle. They played their third game of the tournament later today.
Finland
Esa Lindell played three games this week for Assat and finished with five points over those three games. He had a pair of assists in a 6-3 win against HPK on Tuesday. Lindell would add another pair of assists in a 4-3 win against the Blues on Friday. He was named first star of the game for his efforts. In Saturday's 3-1 against Sport he would add his fifth assist of the week. He was named second star of the game.
Lindell currently has 33 points in 55 games. This puts him third in defensive scoring in the Liiga and 31st overall in the Liiga for points.
Aleksi Makela is out injured and hasn't played for Ilves.
Miro Kajarlainen had two goals in the post season for HIFK U20, however they lost their first playoff series and are out.
Russia
Dynamo Moscow advanced through the first round of the playoffs. Dmitry Sinitsyn did not play in any of their games however.
