Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Guryanov Scores, Hansson Returns To Action

North American Juniors and NCAA
OHL
Alex Peters played two games this week for the Flint Firebirds and went pointless through both of them.
After being traded to the Flint Firebirds last week, Brent Moran has played two games, both losses. He made 19 saves on 21 shots in a 3-0 loss on Friday, a 0.905SVS%.
In the second game of the week Moran would make 38 saves on 43 shots during a 5-3 loss to the Sarnia Sting, a 0.884SVS%.
Chris Martenet played three games for the London Knights this week and went pointless through all three. He has six points, all assists, in 30 games.
Aaron Haydon played in three games for the Niagara IceDogs this week. He finished pointless in all three games. He has four points through 28 games this season.
Patrick Sanvido played three games for the Windsor Spitfires and finished pointless through those games.
WHL
Brett Pollock played four games in the WHL this week and finished with a goal and an assist.
He opened the scoring during a 2-1 win against the Prince Albert Raiders on Tuesday, scoring on the powerplay late in the first period. He'd also be named the second star of the game.

Pollock would also add another point on the powerplay in a game against the Medicine Hat Tigers on Sunday, He'd get the primary assist on a powerplay goal early in the third period. The Oil Kings would lose that game 5-4. Highlights of that game can be found here.
USHL
Matej Paulovic is out injured for four to six weeks. He is out with a broken finger.
NCAA
Mike Prapavessis played two games with the RPI Engineers. According to the lineup he has been moved down to the second pairing and across to the left defense.
He went pointless in the two games he played this week.
Joseph Cecconi played two games this week on the second defensive pairing for Michigan. He is meant to be skating alongside Columbus Blue Jacket's prospect Zach Werenski.
Cecconi finished with a single point through the two games, an assist in a 3-2 loss to Minnesota on Saturday. He has four points through 15 games for the Wolverines.
Europe
Sweden
Niklas Hansson returned to action this week for HV71 after returning from injury. He went pointless through the two games he did play and averaged 17 minutes of ice time on the second defensive pairing.
John Nyberg played two games for Oskarshamn in the Allsvenska and finished pointless through those two games. He averaged less than ten minutes of ice time in one game and in the other finished with over 18 minutes. He has six points through 32 games this season.
Finland
Roope Hintz only played one game this week for HIFK in the Liiga. He went pointless in the game and played just under 15 minutes of ice time.
He was also named to the selection camp roster for the Finnish World Journey Championship team. Finland will be hosting the 2016 WJC.
Troy Vance finished with a single assist in the one game he played for Assat this week.He got the assist in a 5-2 win against Ilves. He know has nine points through 30 games.
Aleksi Makela played one game with Ilves this week and finished pointless in the contest. He played 13 minutes in the 5-2 loss to Assat.
Henri Kiviaho has not played in the Liiga this week.
Miro Karjalainen played two games this week for HIFK J20 and finished pointless in the contests. He also received a ten minute misconduct penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct at the end of the second game.
Russia
Denis Guryanov got his third goal of the season this week in the KHL. He got his goal in a 2-1OT win against Dinamo Moscow. Highlights of the goal can be found here.
Guryanov was also named to the selection roster for the Russian World Junior Championship team.
Dmitry Sinitsyn did not play in either the KHL or VHL this week.
