Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Devin Shore Returns To Form For Maine Black Bears

OHL

Remi Elie played three games this week for the Belleville Bulls and went pointless through the first two of the contests. The Bulls would lose both of those games. He’d score goal for Belleville on Sunday during their 4-3SO loss to the Oshawa Generals. He missed his shootout attempt.

Jason Dickinson played three games with the Guelph Storm. He had a single assist against the Barrie Colts on Saturday as they won 3-2 in a shootout. Dickinson had the primary assist on Pius Suter’s opening goal just over two and half minutes into the first period.

He would add a goal and an assist in the Guelph Storm’s 3-2 loss to the Ottawa 67’s on Sunday.

Aaron Haydon played three games this week with the Niagara IceDogs, going pointless through both of them. He had a bit of a hard time in terms of plus/minus. He finished the week with a -4 overall. A lot of this was due to the 7-2 drumming the IceDogs had at the hands of the Sudbury Wolves on Saturday. He add a fighting major on Sunday during a 2-1 loss to the Mississauga Steelheads.

It was a pretty brutal week for Brent Moran as he had games with save percentages of 0.818% and 0.848%. He let in four shots on 22 shots on Thursday in a 4-1 loss to the Ottawa 67s. He then let in five of the seven goals during a 7-2 defeat against Sudbury. He was pulled in that game with just over 10 minutes remaining.

In his last game of the week, a 2-1 loss to Mississauga he’d have a far more respectable 0.944SVS%, letting in two goals on 36 shots.

Alex Peters is still out injured, according to his twitter he’s suffered an ACL injury.

Patrick Sanvido played two games with the Windsor Spitfires this week and finished pointless through all of them. He’s on the top defensive pairing for Windsor.

WHL

Brett Pollock and the Edmonton Oil Kings played four games this week. Pollock had two goals through those games. Pollock scored the opener in a 4-3SO loss to the Spokane Chiefs on Wednesday. He didn’t score his shootout attempt during the loss. Pollock added another goal during a 5-2 loss to Seattle on Thursday.

After Cole Ully was added to the WHL team’s Subway Super Series roster but hasn’t played since last week. I haven’t been able to find some details on why he hasn’t played for the Kamloops Blazers since then.

QMJHL

Philippe Desrosiers played two games this week for the Rimouski Oceanic.

In the first game, a 3-2 loss to Drummondville, he allowed three shots from 40 shots, a 0.925SVS%. He also back stopped the Oceanic to a 5-1 loss to Victoriaville on Sunday. He let in five goals on 29 shots, good enough for a 0.828SVS%

USHL

Matej Paulovic played two games this week and went pointless through both of them. He has six points through 11 games.

NCAA

Devin Shore finally got back on the scoreboard this week with a two goals and an assist through two games against Massachusetts. Maine would win both of those games.

Mike Prapavessis had a single assist on Riley Bourbonnais’s goal during a 6-1 drumming of Union on Friday.

Europe

Sweden

Ludwig Bystrom only played on game this week for Farjestad and appears to have been a healthy scratch for the other two games. In the one game he did play, a 3-2 loss to Lulea, he played 18 minutes on the ice and was pointless.

Niklas Hansson had three assists in three games this week for Rogle. He had a single assist in each of the three games. He averaged 19 minutes of ice time per game. Emil Molin went pointless and averaged 12 minutes on the ice per game he played. He was suited up for Saturday’s game but did not touch the ice.

John Nyberg played in three games for IK Oskarshamn and went pointless through those games. He played on the third defensive pairing and averaged 12 minutes of ice time per game.

Finland

Esa Lindell played three games for Assat this week and had three points. Lindell would have a single assist in a shootout loss to Lukko on Friday. In that game he spent over 31 minutes on the ice. He would follow this up with a two assist game against TPS on Saturday in a 5-1 win. He only played 22 minutes that game.

Aleksi Makela would only play a single game this week for Ilves against HIFK. He had a single assist in 11 minutes of ice time during a 5-2 win.

Miro Karjalainen has still not returned to action.

Russia

Dmitry Sinitsyn played three games this week for Dynamo Balashikha. He would have two assists during a pair of losses. He averaged just under 16 minutes per game.
