Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Cole Ully Impresses At Subway Super Series, Challenges For World Junior Championship Place

North America Juniors and NCAA
OHL
Remi Elie played three games this week for the Belleville Bulls. He had two assists through those games. He had an assist on the Bulls' lone goal in a 4-1 loss to the Ottawa 67s on Friday. Highlights of the game can be found here. He had another assist in their 2-1 loss to the Guelph Storm. Highlights of that game can be found here.
Dickinson and the Guelph Storm were in action three times this week. He finished with a single point, an assist, through those three games. Dickinson is centring the Storm's second line currently, with Robby Fabbri centring the top line. His assist came during an 8-5 defeat on Sunday afternoon.
Both Jason Dickinson and Remi Elie will be playing for Team OHL at 7pm Eastern in the Subway Super Series on Monday.
Aaron Haydon played two games with the Niagara IceDogs this week. He went pointless through both of those games. Brent Moran played a single game for Niagara. It was a 5-1 loss against the Peterborough Petes on Saturday. He finished with a 0.878SVS%. The IceDogs also made a big splash in the trade market, acquiring Josh Ho Sang from the Windsor Spitfires.
Alex Peters is still out with injury.
Patrick Sanvido and the Windsor Spitfires played in two games this week. He went pointless through both contests.
WHL
Brett Pollock played a single game this week with the Edmonton Oil Kings. He had two assists in their 7-1 win against the Saskatoon Blades on Friday. He assisted on the game winning goal and a powerplay goal. Highlights of the game can be found here.
Cole Ully played a pair of games for Team WHL in the Subway Super Series against Russia. He had a point in both games, a pair of 3-2 losses, a goal and an assist. He turned some heads with his impressive play despite being the second to last addition on the roster. It's possible his play there, according to the Calgary Herald, and overall performance for the Blazers will earn him a hard look for the World Junior Championship.
He went pointless in his games for the Kamloops Blazers.
QMJHL
Philippe Desrosiers played a single game for the Rimouski Oceanic, a 3-2OT win on Sunday evening. Desrosiers saved 28 of the 30 shots he faced, a 0.933SVS%. He was named third star of the game during the win.
USHL
Matej Paulovic played a single game this week with the Muskegon Lumberjacks. He had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win against Bloomington.
NCAA
Devin Shore played a single game this week for the University of Maine. He finished pointless and with a -1 rating in a 3-1 loss to Boston University.
Mike Prapavessis played two games for RPI and finished pointless through both of them. He has been playing on their top defensive pairing.
Europe
Sweden
Ludwig Bystrom played two games for Farjestad this week, both wins. He's been playing as the seventh defenseman and averaged 12 minutes of ice time per game. He went pointless through the games.
Niklas Hansson and Emil Molin played two games for Rogle this week. Niklas Hansson played 22 minutes and went pointless in a 2-0 win against HC Vita Hasten. Emil Molin was dressed but did not play. Hansson had a goal and Molin an assist in Rogle's 5-4 loss to Sodertaije. Molin played nine minutes and Hansson played 22 minutes.
John Nyberg returned to Frolunda J20 and played two games for them this week. He went pointless through both contests.
Finland
Esa Lindell played two games for Assat this week. He went pointless in both games he played and averaged 27 minutes of ice time per game.
Aleksi Makela played three games with Ilves and had a single assist in those games. He averaged 15 minutes of ice time in those three games and had an assist in a 2-1 win against KalPa.
Miro Karjalainen is still not in action for HIFK J20.
Russia
Dmitry Sinitsyn played two games this week for Dynamo Moscow in the KHL. He went pointless through both contests. He played just under 14 minutes on ice in a 1-0 win against Vityaz. He played over 20 minutes against SKA.
