Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Pollock Has Two Point Week, Sanvido Has Three Point Game

North American Juniors And NCAA
OHL
Alex Peters went pointless this week for the Flint Firebirds through two games. In five games this season he has yet to register a point.
Chris Martenet also went pointless for the London Knights.
Patrick Sanvido had a pretty good week in the OHL, getting three assists in a single game to help the Windsor Spitfires to a 7-1 win against the Saginaw Spirit. Highlights of the game can be found here. Two of the assists came from passes to onrushing forwards on the breakout while the third was a result of a slapshot rebounding to an open forward.
It was a week to forget for the Niagara IceDogs. They lost all three of the games that they played.
Aaron Haydon finished a -4 over the week and also got himself seven penalty minutes in one go with a fighting major and instigator penalty.
Brent Moran took the brunt of the IceDogs poor week. He played a pair of full games back to back resulting in a 6-1 loss to the Erie Otters and a 4-1 loss to the Barrie Colts.
There were a few soft goals in the ten that he let in but by watching the highlights it is clear that the defense, or lack of, was a big factor in those numbers. Highlights of the Otters game can be found here, and highlights of the Colts game here.
WHL
Brett Pollock played two games for the Edmonton Oil Kings and finished with two points in those games. He had a goal and assist in a 3-2OT win against the Swift Current Broncos. He got the goal that would clinch the game for the Oil Kings and he was named second star of the game. Highlights of the game can be found here.
USHL
Matej Paulovic only played one game for the Muskegon Lumberjacks this week. He finished with a single assist in a 6-3 loss to Team USA.
NCAA
Neither Michigan or RPI have started their regular seasons yet. RPI dropped their first exhibition game 3-2, though they do not have a boxscore to see how Prapavessis performed.
Michigan's exhibition on Sunday finished with an 8-1 win for Michigan against Toronto. Joseph Cecconi had an assist in the win.
Europe
Sweden
Niklas Hansson played two games for HV71 this week and finished with a single assist. He got the assist on HV71's lone goal in a 2-1 loss on Saturday. It was an impressive assist which you can watch here. Hansson has averaged nearly 23 minutes of ice time this season.
John Nyberg had a goal and an assist this week in two games with Oskarshamn. He got an assist on the first goal in a 3-2 win against Almtuna on Wednesday. He got the game winner in a 3-2 win against Karlskoga on Saturday.
Nyberg averaged nearly 15 minutes of ice time over those two games.
Finland
Troy Vance played two games this week for Assat, averaging over 25 minutes of ice time and finishing with an assist. He got his assist in a 3-2SO loss to HIFK on Thursday.
Roope Hintz is still out injured and has not played for HIFK this season.
Aleksi Makela finished with a single assist in two games for LeKi. He got an assist on the opening goal during a 3-2OT loss.
Miro Karjalainen played two games for HIFK J20 and finished pointless and playing around 17 minutes per game.
Neither Henri Kiviaho or Markus Ruusu have played this week.
Russia
Denis Guryanov played two games in the KHL this week going pointless in both of them. He averaged about 13 minutes of ice time in each of the two games.
Dmitry Sinitsyn played only one game this week in the VHL, going pointless in the contest. He played nearly 17 minutes of ice time in the game.
