Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Pollock Has Three Point Week, Martenet Scores First Goal Of The Season

North American Juniors and NCAA
OHL
In three games with the Flint Firebirds, Alex Peters finished pointless. He has eight points through 35 games.
Brent Moran played three games for the Firebirds this week, all losses. He allowed five goals on 31 shots during a 5-3 loss to Windsor on Thursday, but followed it up with a relief effort where he saved all 21 shots he faced.
In his final game of the week, a 5-3 loss to the Kitchener Rangers on Sunday he allowed four goals on 18 shots before being pulled. However he returned to action after the backup goalie was pulled, saving the last five shots he faced in the third period.
Chris Martenet got his first goal of the season for the London Knights this week. He got the goal, an equal strength goal, during a 4-2 loss to the Peterborough Petes on Friday. Highlights of the game can be found here.
Aaron Haydon played three games with the Niagara IceDogs this week. He finished with a single assist in a 7-4 loss to the Owen Sound Attack. Highlights of the game can be found here. Haydon now has eight points in 42 games.
Patrick Sanvido played three games this week for the Windsor Spitfires this week. He finished with a single assist, his seventh point of the year. He got the assist during a 5-3 win against the Flint Firebirds. Highlights of the game can be found here.
WHL
Brett Pollock had three points in the WHL for the Edmonton Oil Kings this week. He got two of those points during a 3-1 win against the Moose Jaw Warriors on Tuesday. He got the game winning goal and added an assist on a third period powerplay goal. He was named second star of the game.

On Friday Pollock would add his third point of the week, getting a primary assist on Dario Meyer's powerplay goal and gamer winner during a 1-0 win over the Everett Silvertips. Highlights of that game can be found here.
USHL
Matej Paulovic played three games this week in the USHL and finished with four points overall. He had a pair of goals in the Muskegon Lumberjacks 5-4OT win over Team USA, including the game winner.
He added another goal in a 3-2 loss to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on Friday and an assist in a 4-3SO loss to the Des Moines Buccaneers on Saturday.
Paulovic has 17 points in 22 games in the USHL this season.
NCAA
Mike Prapavessis played two games in the NCAA this week. He got his second goal of the season on an unassisted goal in the first period during a 5-2 win on Saturday. Prapavessis has 12 points in 24 games this season.
Joseph Cecconi went pointless through two games for Michigan this week. He has four points through 20 games.
Europe
Sweden
Niklas Hansson played two games in the SHL for HV71 this week. He finished with a single assist, his 18th point of the year.
He got the assist during a 4-1 loss to Modo. Hansson's icetime has been slowly decreasing, he averaged just over 16 minutes per game the past week and was demoted down the lineup.
John Nyberg only played one game in the Allsvenska this week. He went pointless in the game and only played a minute and a half.
However it isn't all bad news. Nyberg was recalled to the SHL by Frolunda and played in a pair of games. These were his first games in the SHL this season. He went pointless in both and averaged 11 minutes of ice time.
Finland
Roope Hintz did not play in the Liiga this week.
In two games in the Liiga, Aleksi Makela finished pointless.
Troy Vance finished pointless through two games with Assat this week. He continues to average over 22 minutes per game and has 11 points through 40 games.
Henri Kiviaho played one game this week for Ilves. He came in as relief during a 5-0 loss to Tappara. He made 15 saves and allowed one goal in 37 minutes of play. He finished with a 0.937SVS%.
Miro Karjalainen did not play in the Finnish juniors this week.
Russia
Denis Guryanov played two games in the KHL this week and finished pointless in both games. He averaged under ten minutes of ice time in each of the two games.
In two games in the KHL Dmitry Sinitsyn finished pointless. He averaged 12 minutes of ice time between the two games.
