Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Brett Pollock Has Seven Point Week

North American Juniors and NCAA

OHL

Alex Peters is still out injured for the Flint Firebirds.

Chris Martenet played three games this week for the London Knights. He went pointless through all three games. He has six points in 24 games.

Aaron Haydon went pointless through three games this week for the Niagara IceDogs. He had four points through 23 games.

Brent Moran has had a mixed week for the IceDogs. He played in three games for them finishing with a pair of wins and a loss. In games against Sault Ste Marie and Barrie he posted 0.970SVS% and 0.933SVS% respectively, a pair of very good results.

In between those two games however was a 6-1 loss to North Bay in which he started but was pulled after letting in four goals on 20 shots, 0.800SVS%.

His performance against Sault Ste Marie on Thursday was good enough to earn him first star honours in the 4-1 win.

Patrick Sanvido returned to action for the Windsor Spitfires this week. He played three games, his first since being injured early in October.

In a 5-3 loss to the London Knights on Sunday he finished with a goal and an assist.

WHL

Brett Pollock had a very impressive week in the WHL, registering seven points in three games this week.

He had a pair of three point games, one against the Regina Pats in a 6-4 win, and the other in a 5-1 win against the Prince Albert Raiders.

In the win against the Regina Pats he scored the game winning goal and a had a pair of assists. He was named second star of the game for his efforts. Highlights can be found here.

In the 5-1 win against the Raiders he had a trio of assists, including a powerplay assist. He was again named second star of the game. Highlights can be found here.

Pollock added another assist in a 3-1 win against the Saskatoon Blades. He now has 32 points through 28 games.

USHL

Matej Paulovic had a single assist through two games this week. He got his assist during a 4-3 win against the Tri-City Storm.

NCAA

Mike Prapavessis had a good week with four assists in the last three games. RPI had two wins out of three games this week.

Prapavessis had an assist in a 4-3 win against New Hampshire and he had three assists in a 4-1 win against Western Michigan.

Joseph Cecconi had an assist in the two games that he played this week. He got an assist during Michigan’s 7-0 win.

Europe

Sweden

Niklas Hansson is still out injured.

John Nyberg went pointless through three games for Osharhamn. He has five points through 27 games.

Finland

Roope Hintz had two points through four games that he played for HIFK this week. He scored a goal in a 4-3 win on Wednesday.

Hintz had an assist on the game winning goal on Friday during a 5-1 win. Hintz now has six points through 11 games for HIFK.

Aleksi Makela played three games in the past week for Ilves. He went pointless through three games in the Liiga and played around 10 minutes in each game.

Troy Vance had a pair of assists through three games this week. He had one assist in a 3-1 loss to the Blues and another assist in a 7-4 win against KooKoo.

Henri Kiviaho did not play this week.

Miro Karjalainen played two games this but went pointless through both games. He has six points through 11 games.

Russia

Denis Guryanov played three games this week in the KHL, going pointless in all three. He averaged around eight minutes per game and not not breach the ten minute mark.

Dmitry Sinitsyn played his first game in the KHL this season. He wasn’t on the ice for long, registered just over two minutes of ice time.
