Why hello there, fellow kids! The Dallas Stars begin their 2025-26 regular season next week. It’s a good time to gather and enjoy the promise of another march to the Stanley Cup (THIS TIME FOR REAL, OK?).

Here’s a bit of what’s out there, regarding both the Stars and the league in general:

  • Neither Jason Robertson nor the front office are worried about his next contract with the team. Mike Heika would like to tell you why. [Dallas Stars]
  • Kirill Kaprizov’s new contract is full-tilt Bozo crazy. Rory Boylen discusses how the Wild forward’s Most Expensive Deal In History will reset the market. [Sportsnet]
  • We think we know the three biggest power teams in the Central Division, but Dan Rosen would like you to consider who might be challenging for a place in the sun. [NHL]

And you probably want to relive that nice Seguin donut with the Hryckowian assist, right? Enjoy the the Victory Green Gang’s latest preseason win.
