Happy hump day, DBD! 10 Things is back, and it’s time to reacquaint ourselves with Tyler Seguin.

August is almost over, which means the Dallas Stars’ preseason will start in earnest soon. And you know it’s getting close when The Dallas Morning News fires up its 10 Things series.

The SportsDay staff chose Tyler Seguin as its first subject. They updated a post from 2016 to include some of the big milestones the Donut Man experienced over the past few years – including his marriage to Kate Kirchof and this summer’s announcement that they’re about to become first-time parents:

The baby is due in January of 2025, according to their announcement. The Stars have seen Seguin through many stages of his career, but could there be a new level to Seguin’s game, enhanced by dad strength?

There’s also a nod to Seggy’s love for #HockeyHalloween, which both Seguins seem to share:

Seguin and his new wife, Kate, went all out for their Halloween costumes in 2022. They dressed up as rapper Machine Gun Kelly and actress Megan Fox, one of Hollywood’s most notable couples.

The Stars forward copied an MGK look by donning a pink, furry vest over a pair of black shorts and combat boots with white shoelaces. He also dyed his hair pink while Kate wore a denim dress and coat combo that included a matching purse.

There’s more at the DMN. Have fun. [SportsDay DFW]
