Happy Tuesday and happy gameday Stars fans! The boys in Victory Green are back at it after a couple of nights off to take on the Edmonton Oilers at the AAC tonight. How are we feeling going into this one?
Obviously the big news over the last couple of days has been last night’s announcement of the 2027 Stadium Series game that will be played in Arlington at JerryWorld AT&T Stadium. After the Winter Classic a few years ago, and the Finland series last year, the Stars have had a lot of opportunities to create new fans all over. If you’re one of those, welcome to the party.
Get ready for a Texas Hockey turf takeover 🏒🏈

Elsewhere in the Central
There were a couple of divisional games last night, involving our next two opponents:
- In an inter-divisional clash, the St Louis Blues completed an impressive 3-goal late comeback against the Edmonton Oilers, winning 3-2 in STL.
- In Seattle, the Kraken made relatively easy work of the Blackhawks with a 3-1 win.

The Stars and Mavs legal issues will continue to make headlines…which is…annoying.
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman broke some news today in the Stars-Mavs arena battle when he said the Mavericks' injunction "was vacated."

Both franchises' legal teams clarified what the commissioner meant.
Spoiler: this legal battle is far from over.https://t.co/L6vNlvpGsR
Finally
The Stars obviously have a lot of players out due to injuries and various ailments, and though it’s tough to have another one out tonight, it’s for a good reason. The Oettingers have welcomed their first child into Stars Nation! Congrats Otter!
#TexasHockey Practice Update:

• Jake Oettinger & his wife had their first child. Jake didn’t practice today & Gulutzan said he didn’t think he would play tomorrow vs. Edmonton.
• Hintz & Duchene remain day-to-day, both out vs. Oilers.
