Season’s Greetings, Stars fans! It’s our last game day before Christmas, and I’m hoping for a goal or eight in my stocking. I’m not sure it’s too much to ask, being the Stars are on a 4-game winning streak in which they’ve outscored their opponents 22-8. And that 8 is generous.

Tonight, we have an early matchup against the – checks notes – Atlantic Division-leading Detroit Red Wings. Wait. When did that happen? Keep your head on a swivel. It could be a fun one.

In the Stars-verse

Officially had Phenomenotter on Sunday. And ALMOST a chance for a goalie goal. It’s coming.

Also wanted to call this out in case anybody missed it.

Elsewhere in the #MDK

Only one game in the Central last night, a Blues loss that’s almost not worth mentioning. Tonight, however, is a heavy one, with 26 teams in action. Get your popcorn ready! (Or just have a bunch of things to catch up on while the league goes silent until Saturday. Pick your poison!

Finally

I woke up this morning thinking about the Olympics, and how it’s even a discussion that this guy might get left off the roster. There should be riots if that happens.
