In On The #Kill Taker

Another relatively quiet night in the Central, but we did get to watch a couple of divisional rivals push each other around:

  • Have the Chicago Blackhawks found their feet? Skates? Whatever? They racked up five unanswered goals to secure an 8-3 win over the St. Louis Blues. [Second City Hockey]
  • And the Utah Mammoth won their home opener with a 3-1 takedown of the Calgary Flames in Delta Center. [Deseret News]

Speaking of the Mammoth, they had more than a big win in front of the home folks to celebrate — what with the new mascot, and sweaters, and the renovated arena and everything. [NHL.com]
