Another relatively quiet night in the Central, but we did get to watch a couple of divisional rivals push each other around:
- Have the Chicago Blackhawks found their feet? Skates? Whatever? They racked up five unanswered goals to secure an 8-3 win over the St. Louis Blues. [Second City Hockey]
- And the Utah Mammoth won their home opener with a 3-1 takedown of the Calgary Flames in Delta Center. [Deseret News]
