Dallas Stars Daily Links: Stars Re-Sign Justin Dowling, Brendan Ranford, Add Landon Bow
The Stars were pretty busy yesterday. Plus, a look at what moves the team could make this offseason, and see why you shouldn't expect the Sharks to panic after their Game 1 loss.
Yesterday, the Stars signed both Justin Dowling and Brendan Ranford to one-year contract extensions. Mark Stepneski also reported that the team won't re-sign Alex Peters, Aaron Haydon, Brent Moran, or Patrick Sanvido, all of whom were picks in the 2014 Draft.
It also looks like Mattias Backman will be back in North America next year.

The Stars also brought goaltender Landon Bow into the fold.

After being trading to the Seattle Thunderbirds, Bow recorded a 1.76 GAA and .938 save percentage in 23 games. In 18 playoff games, he logged a 1.96 GAA and a .927 save percentage.
