I hope everyone is rocking some sort of green today, whether it’s to celebrate Victor E. Green’s birthday or St. Patrick’s Day. Real talk, it’s been a tough couple games for the Dallas Stars, who have lost to two teams that Stars Nation would really like to see them beat as the postseason nears.
Playing teams such as these is a true pressure reading on how we stand against similar competition, considering we will undoubtably have to face this challenge in the postseason. Hopefully the Stars get back on track tomorrow with a win against the Anaheim Ducks, and they can build back up from there.
On to more positive news, DBD’s own Taylor Baird wrote an article for NHL.com, covering our own Wyatt Johnston. In the article, she writes about his achievements thus far and how it has resulted in not only a nice contract extension, but a leadership role on the team given the slew of injuries this season.
I don’t want to steal her thunder because it’s an excellent article that deserves a full read. You can find it here!

Speaking of birthdays, happy belated birthday, Luds!
Happy birthday (3/15/1961) to former Dallas Stars defenseman Craig Ludwig (@taz3311). He played 584 regular season games with Minnesota/Dallas over 8 seasons, retiring after winning the Stanley Cup with the Stars in 1999.#TexasHockey pic.twitter.com/c6wtKQat34

Around The Central
Quiet night for our Central Division friends. The Minnesota Wild are the only team taking the ice tonight against the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings are hot and the Wild are cold, with the Wild having lost four of their last five. Will Minnesota be able to get a meaningful win tonight to help them get back on track?
This is the only love you’re getting from me today, Nathan.
