Yes, the Stars got a great win in Toronto last night as the team continues to master their craft, but there is another craft to get excited and fist-bump your friends about.
When you hear the name Tom Gaglardi, you’re likely in one of two camps: you’ve either never heard of him, or you know he’s the owner of the Dallas Stars. For those that only know him as owner of the Stars, he is also a restaurant entrepreneur who currently owns the well-known Moxie’s Restaurants (for those that live in the DFW area) — and the Canadian chain Craft Restaurant & Beer Market, which will be opening doors in Dallas next year.
This is exciting news for DFW, especially if you are a foodie or beverage enthusiast, as Craft will house over 100 beers on tap — while also offering a slew of wine, cocktail and soda, yes soda options (for our under 21 crowd here), along with a wide array of food choices. The restaurant is described as “casual,” meaning you can don your Stars gear anytime and will presumably be able to catch all the games.

Around The Central
The Minnesota Wild will host the Edmonton Oilers, headlining tonight’s NHL doubleheader on TNT. Both teams are hot, so this should be an entertaining game. This will be somewhat of a revenge game for the Wild, who got fracked by the Oilers 7-1 last time they met.
That’s all I have for today’s news, but the Central Division made some noise last night:
Nathan MacKinnon, who will represent Canada at the #4Nations Face-Off in February, collected two assist to become the first player to reach the 70-point mark this season (15-55—70 in 45 GP).#NHLStats: https://t.co/Reb8bCoTbc pic.twitter.com/BzzQjGr7XS

This kid is in a “Lane” of his own:
Lane Hutson extended his assist streak to five games and became the second @CanadiensMTL rookie defenseman with a three-assist game in the past 30 years, joining Raphael Diaz (Dec. 27, 2011).#NHLStats: https://t.co/Reb8bCollE pic.twitter.com/GR5WtIBWEg
