Dallas winning the #3 pick could also be a boon for their AHL affiliate Texas Stars in a few years. It could be the highest draft pick to play with the Cedar Park team. Texas did have the Blackhawks 2004 #3 pick Cam Barker skate with them during the 2012-13 season. (100 Degree Hockey)
