Dallas Stars Daily Links: Five Jamie Benn Goals To Be Thankful For

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday (and if you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you had a really great Thursday). In the spirit of Turkey Day, The Score’s Ben Whyte compiled five awesome goals scored by Jamie Benn that we can feel thankful for having seen.

First up, we’ve got Benn’s game-winner against the Flyers on Oct. 20.

This one prompted the following response from Tyler Seguin.

“I think he lied to you guys,” Seguin told reporters. “I don’t think he had any hip surgery. He’s making it up.”

Next up is another game-winner from Benn, this one coming in overtime against tonight’s opponent, the Vancouver Canucks, back on Oct. 29.

Facing the Canucks, the captain netted his first overtime winner since March of 2014.

That goal clinched the Stars’ eighth win in 10 games, equaling the franchise’s best 10-game start in franchise history.
