Dallas Stars’ CHL Affiliate Allen Americans Hosting Alzheimer’s Night Friday Nov 22nd

On November 22, 2013 the Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League are trying to purple out the rink with their first “Allen Americans Fight Alzheimer’s” game. The Americans hope this night will help continue the movement to raise awareness and funds for the fight against Alzheimer’s and help advance the research to treat and prevent the disease.

The 2013 Presidents Cup Champions Allen Americans want to encourage everyone to support this fight “off the ice.” The Americans will be wearing specialty jerseys to commemorate the night and those jerseys will be auctioned following the game with proceeds raised going to the Alzheimer’s Association. The jerseys are sponsored by Esteem Hospice, Arbor Hills Memory Care Community and The Law Offices of Kimberly J. Munson, PLLC.

Additionally, the Americans have pledged $2 from each ticket purchased from the link at the end of this article, using the code CHAMPS, will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association. So while we may not have Dallas Stars hockey in town until next Thursday, you can support your local team and help give to a good cause. If that’s not enough to convince you, there’s free parking and the tickets start as low as $18.

You can buy tickets to the game using this link and code CHAMPS to ensure proceeds go to fight Alzheimer’s. Come on out and wear PURPLE to the game that night to show your support!
